Chore Charts
You can use chore charts to organize housework, yardwork, and so on. Anything that's basically a bunch of little subtasks can be set up this way. These work for one person to track a string of things, or for a group of people to track who is responsible for what and which things have already been done. There are styles for all ages and many contexts. If you want to connect a reward system, consider having a board or basket with lots of perks to claim, and then getting first pick of those per day / week / whatever becomes an incentive to complete chores promptly. All this stuff can help with goals related to completing various types of chores consistently or at certain times, or with goals related to a peaceful family.

A tip on age-appropriate chores, or skill trees for other folks learning life skills: Start at the bottom with the easiest task in a category. Once someone masters that, move to the next-harder chore in the same category. Most people are better at some things than others, and this allows everyone to advance at their own speed of mastery in each category. For example, one kitchen sequence is: set table, clear dishes from table and put in sink or dishwasher, empty dishwasher or dish drainer and put away dishes, load dishwasher, wash dishes by hand. As long as you can put the bottom rungs on the ladder, you don't really need to worry about age or time in grade, just watch the skill development.
