Walking Audit or "Neighborhood Walk"

A Walking Audit is a technical term that could be more easily described as a Neighborhood Walk. A Walking Audit is the opportunity to gather a group of people and experience a community or neighborhood together. This simple activity is an opportunity to look and talk about our neighborhoods through a shared experience. A walking audit requires very little initial effort and is the next smallest step each of us can undertake in our community.

This is a good project for anyone with goals like "walk (distance or frequency)," "spend X hours outdoors," "improve community," or "participate in local activism."

This list of 7 questions invites you to consider your beliefs and how to manifest them in the coming year. While you can use these to choose resolutions or other goals, this list is more angled toward folks who prefer the "intention" or "theme" approaches. They lend themselves well to discussion and contemplation, not quick answers or trackable goals.
