Some of these may be alternatives to conventional times, customs, methods, expectations, etc. about making and maintaining goals or resolutions that suggest different approaches to accomplishing what you want. Some will be alternatives TO setting goals or resolutions, because that doesn't work for everyone, as well as things like coping with pressure or answering dumb questions. Work with the brain you have, not the brain that you wish you had -- or worse, the brain that someone else wishes you had. if you struggle with the idea of goals and resolutions, look here. Hopefully this will make it easier for people to find things they want.

* Make a post titled "Resolutions" and list your computer screen resolution settings. It's good for a laugh, and lets people know that you're not into the typical goal-setting kind.
* Whenever someone claims that your self-care is selfish, just reply, "My resolution this year is not to apologize for taking good care of myself."
